Why store wine?
Most wines have a “best before” date that can be measured in terms of years (or months), but this can be lessened considerably when stored in conditions causing undue stress. Unlike a bottle of whiskey, there is insufficient alcohol in wine to prevent it from going bad over time. Even quality wines, which theoretically should improve with age, may degrade or over develop in less time than predicted even in as short as a year if not stored properly.

How do I get my wine into storage (Managed Cellar)?
Most retailers, wine clubs and cellar door sales outlets have excellent delivery services. You can take advantage of these and have your wine delivered direct to Winevault. We will check the delivery and advise you of its arrival. You can be assured that no damaged cases or short deliveries will be accepted.
Winevault also offers an efficient pick up and delivery service at very competitive rates or, of course, you can bring your wine to us personally.
How do I get my wine into storage (Vault Storage)?
As you hold the key it is up to you to put your wine into your vault (we do not even have the master key on the premises). We will take deliveries for you and hold them securely until you can get to Winevault to put them into your vault. We will give you a call to let you know the wine has arrived.
How do I retrieve my wine (Managed Cellar)?
It’s as easy as making a phone call or sending an e-mail advising us which wine you would like. All that we ask is that you give as much notice as possible (24hrs is minimum notice).
When can I access my wine (Vault Storage)?
Anytime between the hours of 7.00am to 9.00pm - 7 days a week.
What are your business hours?
Mon to Fri : 8:00am to 4:30pm
Saturday : 9:00am to 1:00pm
Sundays : Closed

Who is Spareroom?
Spare Room Self Storage is an independent self storage facility. Its Artarmon premises were purpose built by property developer Austcorp.
With the completion of Stage 2 of Spare Room’s Artarmon storage centre, it became the largest self storage facility in Australia.
Spare Room Self Storage is a joint venture between Austcorp and the Meat Industry Employees Superannuation Fund, and it’s Artarmon facility is the first of a number planned for the eastern states of Australia.
Who is Austcorp?
