This is fast becoming a cult wine in a few Melbourne and Sydney circles. Each vintage has been rated around 94/100 by Halliday, and the winery Knots has just been elevated to 5 star status in the current Halliday Companion.
The wine is made as naturally as possible, without extra watering, herbicides, pesticides and little intervention once the grapes are picked. Winemaker Lindsay Ross bottles, labels and waxes each bottle himself. Always in small quantities - this is a wine that will impress now, or cellar for 5 - 10 + years.
